He has also been the Honorary Advisor of the DAV Organization. He was earlier lecturer in DAV College Jalandhar and later was Principal of various DAV Colleges. He was thrice elected to the senate of Punjab University and remained its syndic. He was a Member of Court of Kurukshetra University. He has travelled on educational tours in India and abroad.
